Doug’s 85 mile ride
This ride was the most beautiful ride of the year for me. Heck it was superlative is lots of ways–the scenery, the roads, the climbing, the group. It was all good. The people in particular were a highlight.

This video is of one of our many excellent descents. Maybe it’ll give the non-cyclists in the crowd a taste for what the rush is like. Although it’s a little hard to get a feel for the speed, if you listen to the doppler effect of the motorcycle passing me and watch the painted lines speed by you may get a better impression.

Okay, so that would terrify me. I am such a wimp, my endorphins cower in fear. Sounds like it was a fun ride though.
