Monday night ride
Starting from Brian’s house, we headed straight up George Thompson road to get the blood flowing. From there a casual spin north along the ridge just to the east of Saratoga lake. East to Route 32 then a spin around the Saratoga Battlefield. It’s beautiful in there.
I wish I had brought my camera. Stupid, stupid, stupid. We saw a lot of amazing things, not the least of which was a spectacular rainbow. We passed at least three deer, some of which just a few feet from us. We saw wild turkeys with little turkey-lets scampering after them. We passed a group of three other roadies… well, THEY passed us, but we could have taken them. We were just ridin’ all casual and stuff last night. The clouds were dramatic Miyazaki-quality clouds.
Our happy little group was comprised of Brian, Kyle, Stacie and Patrice–a good PRO Team outing. Dinner afterwards at Panera whereupon I had my fav, the tomato & mozzarella salad. Mmmm, tom & mozz… ‘Course it was like some kids had busted the knob off the freakin’ AC and it was stuck on the arctic setting. I had to go out to the car and get sweatshirts, vests and socks for all of us before we turned into cartoon ice cubes.
Here is a panorama from Sunday morning. I know, different day, but it’s close to the beauty we experienced Monday evening.

Dude, that, like, sounds like a totally radical outing.

That sounds really lovely.
Plus I love the image of you all turning into ice cubes.
