West River Road
Ahh, my favorite local road. It’s straight, scenic, flat (well, mostly flat), and fast! The recent deluge of rains has really swollen the Hudson River. The road is dangerously close to getting submerged, but as of last night, still dry. The northern end of the road has the river to within a foot of the road’s elevation. The southern end, before the climb to higher ground, is only within about 3 feet below the surface of the road.
