One of Steph’s former co-workers from a previous job snagged our ‘backup tree.’ You know the one you decide to marry if you’re still single by the time you turn forty… I mean the one to chop down if nothing else looks better. That co-worker wasn’t even apologetic. Oh well.

Jenny and the treeWe landed a very nice one that seemed to be lonely down in the corner of the lot. Landed. The “Tinsel-Twister 3000.” Now with snag-free dangly ornaments–sure to catch that big tree!

We strap the two trees to the roof of the Higgins Family Truckster and head over to their house. Make the drop. Then head home to fill our house with the wonderful scent of pine. Well, the scent only lasted for a few hours before dissipating nearly entirely. Oh well. The tradeoff is that this tree seems much more resilient than last year’s.
