Planned on two miles. Ran those well, tried for a little more and just didn’t have it. A paltry three quarters of a bonus mile are free for the taking. Though I don’t know why you’d even bother.
Warning, whining ahead… I suffered a little from post-dinner stomach sloshing. Even though all I had was two tasty slices of cheese pizza and a water. And, the top of my left foot, the tendons there are sore and talking back to me like a disrespectful four-year old that wants the the box of crayons but knows you won’t give them because you’re visiting a relative with white carpeting and a dachshund that likes to snag said crayons and chew on them up on the white couch.
It was a gorgeous day today. A day worthy of playing hooky from work and hitting the road for some big miles. Perhaps even cycling miles. But then I’d have to fix the two flats on my trusty Trek. I take that back. NOT trusty Trek, since it flaked on me.
But no. No big miles where had today. Sigh. Did anyone else get out today?

Gee, Kurt, there’s a bunch of references to kids lately. Is your biological clock ticking?
I took the day off from the gym to go to the open forum for employees. It was a discussion about patient satisfaction surveys and expansion of the hospital. Interesting discussion? Yes. Worthy of missing the gym? Uh, still on the fence about that. I’ve got the circuit training class tomorrow though. As long as it’s not too busy at the lab.
I still think you’re inspiring. At least you got 2 miles more than the rest of us.
2 miles is better than nothing. Good for you!! I got out today. Sure, it was just to the pediatric dentist, but it counts. Sorta.
nope I didn’t get out, too dang lazy. Still trying to catch up from all the sleep I lost over the week end!!! wow a couple hours a night didn’t cut it for me at all.
Two miles is better than nothing, so don’t beat yourself up, you are awesome about getting out there.
